We’re getting the festival off to a great start this year with an exciting weekend with lots of family fun!
On Saturday there's a fantastic series of FREE workshops for children from 5 to 16 years at the Childrens' Festival.
On Sunday join us for all sorts of family entertainment and fun and games. Bring your picnic blankets, grab some food from the Street Feast which is happening on the High Street from 12noon and come up to the Pre-Prep Playing Field where you can relax and have fun.

Led by Peter Reeve, who has been coaching, managing and organising international youth football for 60 seasons and Darren Gill, who has been coaching and training all over Norfolk for the last 30 years. Both have UEFA coaching licences. Sessions will include fun games, mini matches and skills training.
10.00am - 11.15am ages 5-9 (under 8s accompanied by an adult)
11.30am - 1.00pm ages 10+
Led by Kelly Marie Such of True Motion Dance. Kelly founded True Motion Dance in 2010 and is a choreographer, teacher, dancer and artist. She holds a BA (Hons) in dance and an MA in choreography.
1.30pm - 2.00pm ages 5-7 (accompanied by an adult)
2.00pm - 3.00pm ages 8-11
3.00pm - 4.00pm ages 12-16
Write and record a song with singer-songwriter Paul Thompson, using his amazing eco-friendly electric milk float stage and studio! No instruments required to participate, but feel free to bring one along!
12.00noon - 12.30pm Under 8s (accompanied by an adult)
1.00pm - 2.30pm ages 8-16
Led by James McDermott, scriptwriter, actor, poet and creative writing teacher.

Come and make your own mini window hanging to take away with petri dishes and coloured gels in this fun drop-in workshop led by artist and sculptor Kate Munro. No need to book!

Finish the day by bringing your family to a sing-along performance of Mary Poppins Returns at 6.30pm at the Community Centre - We’ll all be there!
