Internationally renowned Italian concert pianist Gloria Campaner brings us the first of two exciting concerts.
Gloria Campaner has collaborated with the noted video designer Luca Scarzella in a film exploring the light and shade of Alexander Scriabin’s piano works.
Here, she dramatically illuminates Scriabin’s Vers la Flamme (Towards the Flame), one of the last pieces he wrote for the piano.
Gloria Campaner is a Steinway Artist and holder of a fellowship from London’s Borletti - Buitoni Trust. She has recently undertaken tours across all continents and in 2017, she was invited as resident artist at the Marlboro Festival (Vermont, USA), working along with pianists such as Mitsuko Uchida and Leon Fleisher.
The concert will be followed by a Q & A with John Bowley, Director of Music, Gresham’s School.
