Once again, cabaret duo Kit & McConnel are thrilled to return to the Holt Festival (we’re local, so it really is our favourite) with a fresh fricassee of oven-warm, up-to-the-minute cabaret songs, sketches and widening waistlines.
Since last we saw you, we’ve ploughed and scattered our dear friend and colleague, Joan Rivers, launched the Good Ship Britannia and entertained Egyptian arms dealers in Sardinia (though they understood not a word). We also nudged David Cameron’s post-Brexit 50th birthday party into something approaching disarray last October, but we’re reasonably confident the extremely polite (though somewhat intimidating) boys at MI5 have forgiven us.
So, as we tease on our tummy tighteners, buff up the bald bits and totter over to the Auden Theatre, we do hope you’ll join us for an evening of wit, musical silliness, improvisation and general absurdity.
