Paddy Ashdown is one of the country’s best known and most respected political figures.

2018 marks 30 years since Paddy Ashdown became leader of the Liberal Democrats, a post he held for 11 years. Under Paddy’s leadership the Liberal Democrats almost doubled their seats in Parliament.

He will be in conversation, with Nick Conrad, about various topics including aspects of his varied career; in the military, as a diplomat and in both Houses of Parliament.

He has also written several books, most recently ‘Game of Spies: the Secret Agent, the Traitor and the Nazi’, published by Harper Collins. 

Nick Conrad hosts the highly popular Breakfast Programme on BBC Radio Norfolk.
