Tankus the Henge is the London based, five wheeled, funk fuelled, open top, custom paint job, rock ‘n’ roll jalopy that comes careering round the corner on a tranquil summer’s day.

Having played over 1000 shows worldwide, the Tankus the Henge live experience is something to behold. Combining wild showmanship and musical dexterity their sound incorporates rock, funk, blues, ska, roots and gypsy rhythms.

Since the release of their first album in 2013 the band has toured extensively across Europe and also become a favourite on the festival circuit.

They are supported by Skyhook, a guitar driven rock ‘n’ roll band caught somewhere between the big sky and the ocean. From soaring anthems to fragile ballads the Skyhook sound is at times uplifting and at other times sorrowful.

I love that. It reminds me of a mixture of early Kinks, Squeeze and a bit of Blur mashed in. His voice is his own, …so great. I love it - Dave Davies – The Kinks
