Due to the weather conditions (severe gales and torrential rain) we have had to cancel the exhibitions for today, Friday 25 September. The judging will go ahead as planned.

There are a number of places still available for viewing over the weekend, these will be allocated on a first come first served basis - click here to book.

We very much hope you will join us for this wonderful exhibition, if however you can’t come the works are available for viewing and purchase online.

It is with enormous sadness and heavy hearts that we have taken the decision to cancel Holt Festival this year.  It is a joyful celebration of the arts that we all look forward to and gives pleasure to so many people, but with the rapidly spreading pandemic and the threat of it continuing well into the summer, we feel that cancellation is the only sensible course of action.

Although the performances are cancelled, the Sir John Hurt and the Sworders Art Prizes are still going ahead. As a result of Covid19 the deadline for submissions has been extended until midnight on Monday 1st September. The shortlisted entries will then be published on the website by which time it is hoped the details of a physical exhibition can be announced.

If you have any questions please do get in touch and remember to sign-up to our mailing list for the latest festival news.

We trust that there will be better times ahead and that the festival will be back next year from Sunday 25 to Saturday 31 July 2021.
