For over 800 years the The Parish Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle has faithfully served the parish and continues to do so today. It is home to a vibrant community of faith who are keen to promote and encourage the use of the church as a venue for the arts. The church is open every day for public worship and private prayer and to welcome visitors. It is situated in the heart of the town at the end of Church Street, which is found behind the War Memorial, at the east end of what was the original Market Place.
